The room at Oystercatcher Villa was absolutely amazing! The view of the Atlantic Ocean from the private veranda was breathtaking. I could watch Southern Right Whales right from my room! The room had a cozy seating area where I could relax and unwind. It felt like a home away from home. I loved that the apartment had a kitchenette with a stovetop. It was convenient for preparing snacks and light meals. The private bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The hair dryer and bathrobes provided added a touch of luxury to my stay. The refrigerator in the room was a nice addition, allowing me to keep my drinks and snacks cool.
Personally, I found the room a bit small. But others might still enjoy the cozy atmosphere it provided.

We had an amazing stay at a beautifully appointed lodge with personal touches. the hosts, Luc & Sue, were superb, serving freshly cooked breakfasts made to order. the setting overlooking the peaceful beach was perfect for walks or relaxing on the terrace. Luc's restaurant recommendations made our stay extra special. A great base for exploring the West Coast beauty spots. Highly recommend Oystercatcher Villa for a wonderful and memorable experience. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😢.

The owners were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The view from our private patio was absolutely stunning, overlooking the rocks, waves, and even whales. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and the community felt safe and secure. It's the perfect base for exploring the beautiful SA West Coast, including the nearby national park. We especially appreciated the delicious food and sandwiches provided by the owners. The atmosphere was relaxing, with the sound of crashing waves and beautiful nature all around. We can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic Christmas getaway at this coastal villa. the room was spacious and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a holiday retreat. the ocean views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. the villa was in a prime location, with easy access to beautiful beaches and picturesque sand dunes. It was such a treat to be able to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The lack of nearby restaurants. We were hoping to explore the local eateries during our stay, but unfortunately, there weren't many options within walking distance.

We stayed at Oystercatcher Lodge for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better location. The lodge is situated right on the beach, allowing us to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves. The spacious honeymoon suite with a private balcony provided stunning views of the ocean. Luc, the breakfast chef, prepared delicious meals, and the hosts gave great recommendations for local restaurants. The serene environment, safe beaches, and abundant birdlife added to our wonderful experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Warm hospitality from start to departure; excellence in every aspect of the accommodation. Exceptionally clean rooms and breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset over the sea. A rare privilege to witness. Will definitely want to visit again!
The bathroom floor was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. Our feet were black from the dirt.
